Talking Sticks: Whole group
  • Each student's names is writing on a craft stick or piece of paper.
  • One stick is pulled randomly from a cup to respond.

Talking Chips: Whole or small group
  • Each participant is given a fixed number of chips or markers.
  • Each time that participant shares/responds, they spend one of their chips.
  • When a participant's chips are gone, they may not share/respond until everyone else has used their chips.
